Everyone attending Taos Vortex must purchase either a Single Day Pass, Weekend Camping Pass, or Weekend No Camping Pass. If you choose to camp and purchase a Weekend Camping Pass, you can add-on Glamping Passes, Camp Breakfast Passes, RV Camping Passes, Car Camping Passes, Car Loading and Unloading Passes, Parking Passes, and/or Theater Brunch Passes. If you choose either Camping or No Camping, you can add on a Big Vibe Pass (VIP) by day — or for the whole weekend — and/or Shuttle Passes. All add-on passes can be found in the pop-up when you click on a "Buy Passes" button. We also offer adventure add-ons, which are sold directly through the provider's websites linked on our "Experience Planning" page on TaosVortex.com. Please note that all add-ons are limited in quantity and might sell out quickly.
Camping is available only if you purchase Weekend Camping pass. If you’d like to camp with your car, you’ll need to purchase a Car Camping Pass in addition to your Full Weekend Camping pass.

The earliest you can enter the Taos Vortex site to set up your camp and begin your weekend is 12PM Friday, Aug 16th.
We provide a shuttle service to and from off-site parking at the Taos Rodeo grounds (located at 230 Camino de la Merced, Taos NM 87571). Once you purchase a Shuttle Pass, you can park at the Taos Rodeo grounds and ride our shuttle to Taos Vortex. You can also find parking on-street in Taos, or if you are camping, you can park on Taos Vortex grounds by purchasing a Parking Pass or Car Camping Pass.
Purchase a shuttle pass before the event or at the gates during Check-In hours onsite! Park at the Taos Rodeo Grounds (located at 230 Camino de la Merced, Taos NM 87571) and ride the shuttle to a pick up/drop off point right across the street from the park’s main entrance. The shuttle will run continuously from 12-7PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday & 9AM-1PM on Monday. Please be patient as the shuttle will keep running during these times. If you have any questions about timing, ask the Vortex staff at the gate!

Yes, purchase a RV or Car Camping Pass. Don’t forget to purchase your Weekend Camping pass as well. Please note: RV and car camping space is limited!
All RVs will be placed in order of arrival and at the discretion of the RV placement team. We cannot accommodate self-selection during the arrival process. For best chance to neighbor with your friends, please stay in line together. All RVs have a limited amount of space alongside the RV that is considered your "personal space" which accommodates opening the awning for a cool social space between you and your neighbor. Small, un-staked tents may fit in this space if desired, but cars are unlikely to fit. There is no electricity or water hookups for RVs onsite. There is no sewage dumping for any RV upon exit of the event. Please respect the neighborhood vibes in and around the RV camp. Buyers can expect us to be in contact with to ask about RV size for placement and with additional information closer to the event.
No. A van or camper van can purchase a Car Camping Pass. A car with a trailer must purchase an RV Camping Pass. A 5th Wheel must purchase an RV Camping Pass.
Yes, each individual who wants to camp must purchase a Weekend Camping pass. One campsite could be shared between multiple people, or one person could share multiple campsites if you’re lucky. Regardless, each individual needs a pass that allows them to camp.
All passholders including campers may exit and re-enter the event freely. Make sure to keep your wristband on for re-entry! Go enjoy Taos!
We offer a Glamping Pass that provides for two Vortex inhabitants. You must purchase a Weekend Camping pass AND a Glamping Pass for each individual. Glampers receive: concierge check-in, a luxurious queen bed with linens, 2x Big Vibe passes, Welcome Provisions Package that includes snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, 1x Car Loading/Unloading Pass and Parking Pass Please note: additional guests are $150 per night ( 4 total guests max. per tent) and links for additional guests will be sent out after you purchase your Glamping pass. At Taos Vortex, we provide work trade options. Apply to be a Worktrader on our Get Involved page HERE , wait for confirmation of your roles and shifts, and follow the directions to purchase a Worktrader Pass (which includes camping). Upon completion of your dedicated hours, we will refund your Pass. Helping out for 12 hours will score you all of your money back on your Worktrader Pass! If you dedicate 6 hours, you will score half back on your Worktrader Pass. We will refund deposits within a week after the event. Note that you must be 21 years or older to participate as a worktrader.

Kit Carson Park is ADA compliant. There is designated ADA parking on-site and a designated ADA viewing area in front of the stage. Use the camping entrance/ car-only gate for ADA parking.

Kit Carson Park is ADA compliant. There is designated ADA parking on-site; please show our security your credentials to enter through the Main Gate during Check-in hours and they will direct you to ADA parking close to the entrance. There is designated space for ADA viewing in front of both stages. If you are having trouble finding the space, please get in touch with Vortex security.
If camping, please show your ADA credentials at the Camping Entrance to enter in and unload your gear (you do not need an Unloading/Loading Pass). Once you unload, you will then drive out of the Camping Entrance and show your credentials to enter through the Main Gate during Check-in hours to park in the ADA Parking area.
